On this project, we were asked to do a custom shower pan and curb, waterproofed walls and the entire project tiled complete with Fleurco shower doors.
To start we leveled the floor underneath the shower tray. Starting with a level surface is key to a good install through all stages. Next we installed a Schluter shower tray/drain and customized it to our situation. We added our custom curb and then waterproofed everything with Schluter Kerdi.
The next stage was to tile the entire bathroom including the shower stall. This was done using 12×24, 12×12 and 1×2 tile porcelain tiles with rectified edges. After applying grout, the whole project was sealed. We then we installed 12mm glass, neo angle shower doors from Fleurco. All seams, edges and plumbing fixtures were siliconed.
